Description
Beautiful sunset on the river!
The Apalachicola River basin is a geographic area in the Florida Panhandle that drains a watershed of some 20,000 square miles. The northern reaches of this basin include a dramatic landscape of steep bluffs and deep ravines, making these some of the most significant natural features of the southeastern Coastal Plain. The river and its surrounding forests, prairies, and coastal habitats are recognized as one of six biodiversity hot spots in the United States. This complex river ecosystem supports more than 1,500 species of native plants and animals, as well as numerous endemic species that exist only in this region.

Gorgeous reflection and wonderful Yellow tones to this watery delight. Yellow is my favorite color today and I am sharing this find with all of my friends.

Debra, Fantastic scenic capture love the sunset over the trees and putting the trees in a beautiful silhouette position. Fantastic reflection of the sun captured on the river as the sun just leaves behind a little bit of light to show off the ripples in the water. Amazing clarity in this photo that makes you feel like you can reach out and touch the water. Remarkable scenic photo, voted, tweet, google and FB promoted and chosen as my Daily Favorite for the CFC group
